1: The initial judging of costumes will happen at pre-judging, before the contest begins. Prejudging will happen Saturday.
2: Contestants can only enter into one category as an individual or group.
3: All props and weapons must conform to Game On Expo’s weapon policy.
4: Walk-ins are accepted during the time of pre-judging, but no later. Applications will be available at that time.
5: If you have a musical or audio preference, please your MP3 file and include your full name and competition classification category in the email. Those who apply during pre-judging will be assigned music.
6: Costumes must be made by the contestant being judged OR the creator of the costume must be present to speak with judges during the pre-judging.
7: If you have set pieces they must be small and able to be loaded and unloaded from the stage quickly and efficiently when you are called.
8: The categories are as follows.
- Novice (Those who have not won any division awards or entered more than 1 cosplay competition)
- Veteran (Anyone who has won 1 or more division awards or entered 3 or more competitions at any given event)
- Youth (Any contestant or group of contestants under the age of 12. Adult chaperons must be present)
All weapons must be registered at registration before you will be allowed entry to the expo.
