Anthony Marquez is an American actor, and martial artist. Marquez was rated in the North American Sport Karate Association, (NASKA), top 10 for 1989, 1990, and 1993. He was also voted Rookie of the Year in 1989, and was the NASKA National Wushu Champion in 1996. He has performed in many stage, and movie productions, including doing stunt work as Leonardo in TMNT III. He perhaps is best known as Kung Lao in the Mortal Kombat series.
Master Pesina, a gold medal winner in international as well as USA sanctioned martial arts tournaments, gained his notoriety for his contribution to the Mortal Kombat franchise. He gave life to Johnny Cage, father of all Mortal Kombat characters, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Reptile, Smoke and Noob Saibot. Master Pesina is also featured on the side art of the first Mortal Kombat arcade cabinets.
